Das IHOP Karlsruhe ist ein überkonfessionelles Gebetshaus.
Wir sind keine Gemeinde, sondern ein Dienst des Gebets für unsere Stadt, unser Land und die Nationen.

Unser Herz schlägt dafür, dass Gottes Wille geschieht und Seine Gerechtigkeit in alle Bereiche unseres Lebens hineinkommt. Unsere Aufgabe sehen wir darin, den Boden für Gottes Pläne im Gebet und Fürbitte vorzubereiten, damit Er kommen kann und Sein Wille geschieht - wie im Himmel so auf Erden. Deshalb bezeichnen wir uns auch als Fürbitte Mission.

Hauptziel des IHOP Karlsruhe ist es, 24 Stunden, 7 Tage die Woche mit Gebet, Anbetung und Fürbitte abzudecken. Ein weiteres Ziel ist die Zurüstung und Ausrüstung der Gläubigen durch fundierte, biblische Lehre über unsere Identität als Braut Christi. 

  
Warum ein IHOP?

"An jenem Tag richte ich die verfallene Hütte Davids auf, ihre Risse vermauere ich, und ihre Trümmer richte ich auf, und ich baue sie wie in den Tagen der Vorzeit, damit sie den Rest Edoms und all die Nationen in Besitz nehmen, über denen mein Name ausgerufen war, spricht der Herr, der dies tut." Amos 9.11-12

In den letzten Jahren sind rund um den Globus viele Gebetshäuser entstanden. Der Heilige Geist arbeitet in diesen Tagen am Aufbau einer weltweiten Gebetsbewegung. Sie ist Teil Seiner göttlichen Strategie, die zum Ziel hat: Dass die Menschen verstehen, wer sie sind und wie Er sie sieht.  Die Kirche hat einen klaren Auftrag: Matthäus 24.14 sagt uns, dass wir alle Nationen mit der Wahrheit erreichen sollen. Die Erfüllung dieses Auftrags läuft über drei Ebenen: 

1. Predigen des Wortes
2. Barmherzigkeitsdienste
3. Gebet

Wir glauben, dass Gott begonnen hat, an unserer traditionellen Vorstellung und Sichtweise von Gebet und Fürbitte zu rütteln und Er uns eine unermessliche Freude am Gebet geben wird (Jesaja 56.7).

So wird das Gebetshaus ein Ort der Freude und der Zurüstung sein. Denn Gott hat nicht nur verheißen, dass Er die Stiftshütte wieder aufrichten wird, sondern auch, dass dieser Ort der Ausgans- bzw. Dreh- und Angelpunkt für die Umkehr Seines Volkes und der Heiden sein wird (s.a. Apostelgeschichte 15.16-18).

 
Das Modell der Stiftshütte Davids

König David errichtete in Jerusalem eine Stiftshütte , um dort die Bundeslade aufzustellen (1. Chr 15.1,16.1). Er bestimmte 4000 Musiker und 288 Sänger, die - in Gruppen eingeteilt - Gott rund um die Uhr (24/7) im Schichtdienst anbeteten (1. Chr 6.31-33, 15.16-22, 23.4-6). Gott anzubeten war ihr Job! David setzte sie frei, vollzeitig anzubeten und zu beten (1. Chr 9.33, 25.7). Es wurde zur Regel, dass ausgebildete Sänger vor der Bundeslade das Lied des Herrn sangen (1. Chr 7, 1. Chr 25.1, 2. Chr 29.27). Es gab sogar bestimmte Strukturen und Regeln, wie und was gesungen wurde (1. Chr 13, 15-16, 23, 25, 2. Chr 29, Neh 12).

Das IHOP Karlsruhe sieht sich in dieser Tradition und versteht sich als Teil der weltweiten Vision Gottes für Gebetshäuser. Wir glauben, dass Gott Menschen als Fürbitte-Missionare freisetzen wird, die Tag und Nacht vor Ihm stehen, um Ihn anzubeten und Seinen Willen auf Erden in Existenz zu beten.

Wie David so möchten auch wir Menschen einer Sache sein! Die Beziehung und Liebe zu Gott, der uns zuerst geliebt hat, soll unsere einzige Motivation sein.

Wir möchten hier in Karlsruhe...

...einen Ort schaffen, an dem Anbetung und Fürbitte Tag und Nacht zu Gottes Thron aufsteigen (Offb 4-5)

...einen Raum der Begegnung und Inimität mit Jesus bereiten

 

...einen Lebensstil des Betens und Fastens führen (Lk 2.37, Joel 2.12, Mt 9.14)

...Christen durch fundierte Lehre in ihre Identität als Braut Christi führen Joh 3.29, 2. Kor 11.2)

...eine tiefere Erkenntnis vom Wort Gottes bekommen (Eph 1.17-19, Lk 24.32)

...Katalysator sein, um den Willen Gottes in der Gemeinde/ den Menschen hervorzubringen (Eph 2.10)

Das IHOP Karlsruhe ist ein Ort, der für jeden offen ist. Wir laden dich ein, einfach vorbeizuschauen und vor Gott zur Ruhe zu kommen, Ihn anzubeten oder im IHOP mitzuarbeiten! Die Gebetszeiten findest du hier...

Die Mitarbeit im Gebetshaus ist ehrenamtlich. Dies bedeutet, dass die Beter, die sich vollzeitig einbringen möchten auf finanzielle Hilfe von ihre Familien, Freunde und Bekannte angewiesen sind.

about IHOP Karlsruhe

The IHOP Karlsruhe is an interdenominational prayer ministry to our city, country and the nations.

It is our heart's desire to see the will of God and His righteousness established throughout the earth and the Body of Christ which is His Bride. Our task is to prepare the way for God's plans in the spirit so He can come and His will is done on earth as it is in heaven. Therefore we also call ourselves an intercessory mission.

Main goal of the International House of Prayer Karlsruhe is to cover 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year with a furnace of prayer and worship in order to keep the flame burning on the altar of the Lord. Also, we want to prepare the Saints through foundational bible teaching on our identity as the Bride of Christ.

 
Why a House of Prayer?

"On that day I will raise up The tabernacle of David, which has fallen down, And repair its damages; I will raise up its ruins, And rebuild it as in the days of old; That they may possess the remnant of Edom, And all the Gentiles who are called by My name," Says the LORD who does this thing." Amos 9:11-12

In the last years houses of prayer have been established all around the globe and the number is still growing. The Holy Spirit is working in these days to build a global prayer movement. It is part of His divine strategy with the purpose of giving understanding to Men about their true identity in God. The Church has one clear commission: Matthew 24 tells us that we should reach all nations with the truth. The fulfillment of this commission works on three different levels:

1. Preaching of the Gospel

2. Mercy deeds

3. Prayer

We believe that God has begun to shake the foundations of our traditional understanding and paradigm of prayer and that instead He will give us unspeakable joy in prayer (Isaiah 56:7).

That way, the house of prayer will be a place of joy and preparation. For God not only promised to rebuild the tabernacle but also, that this place would be key for the turning of His people Israel and the Gentiles back to Himself (see Acts 15.16-18).

The model of the Tabernacle of David

King David built a tabernacle in the city of Jerusalem where the Ark of the Covenant was kept and exposed (see 1 Chr 15:1, 16:1). He ordained 4000 musicians and 288 singers who - according to their shift and order - worshiped before God day and night (see 1 Chr 6:31-33, 15:16-22, 23:4-6). To worship God was their job! David set them free to praise and worship full time (1 Chr 9:33, 25:7)! It became a rule that skilled singers would sing the song of the Lord before the Ark (1 Chr 7, 1 Chr 25:1, 2 Chr 29:27). There were also structures and orders for the way it was to be sung (1 Chr 13, 15-16, 23, 25, 2 Chr 29, Neh 12).

The IHOP Karlsruhe sees its ministry in the light of this tradition and considers itself as part of God's global vision for houses of prayer. We believe that God will raise up and release people as full-time prayer missionaries who will stand before Him day and night, to worship Him and pray  His will for this earth into existence.

Our vision

"One thing I have desired of the LORD, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple." Psalm 27:4 NKJV

Just as David we want to be a people of One Thing! Our relationship and love to God, who loved us first, shall be our first and only motivation.

It is our desire to establish in Karlsruhe...

... a place where worship and intercession rise day and night to the Throne of God (Rev 4-5)

... a place of encounter and intimacy with Jesus

... a lifestyle of prayer and fasting (Lk 2:37, Joel 2:12, Mt 9:14)

We desire...

... to see christians come into their true identity as the Bride of Christ by offering foundational bible teaching (Jn 3:29, 2. Kor 11:2)

... to gain a deeper understanding and knowledge of the Word of God (Eph 1:17-19, Lk 24:32)

... to be a catalyst, bringing forth the will of God in the Church/Men (Eph 2:10)

A place for everybody!

The IHOP  is a place open to everyone. We invite you to simply stop by and come into the presence of God, to find His peace, to worship Him or even to work with us! 

To work in the house of prayer is a voluntary job which means that those who want to commit full or part time to the house of prayer ministry need financial help and raise funds from their families, friends and others. For further information send us an email to office(at)ihop-karlsruhe.de.
